Afghanistan Business Visas

Current Passport

Applicant must submit their current passport. Afghanistan business visas are stamped into a passport, therefore the Afghanistan Embassy requires the original passport.

Note: In order to obtain Afghanistan business visas, passport must have one blank visa page and not expire within the next six months. If you require passport services, please visit our expedited passport services section.

Afghanistan Business Visa Photo Requirement

The Afghanistan Embassy requires two (2) identical passport style photographs taken within the last 6 months. Visa photos should not be the same used for the passport.

Proof of Travel to Afghanistan

Applicant must submit a computer-generated itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing departure from the U.S. and arrival/departure in Afghanistan.

Business Cover Letter

All Afghanistan business visa applicants must submit a Business Cover Letter from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel to Afghanistan, duration of stay and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the example Business Cover Letter below.
