Australia Business Visas

Current Passport

Applicant must submit their current passport. Australia business visas are stamped into a passport, therefore the Australia Embassy requires the original passport.

Note: In order to obtain Australia business visas, passport must have one blank visa page and not expire within the next six months. If you require passport services, please visit our expedited passport services section.

Australia Business Visa Photo Requirement

The Australia Embassy requires two (2) identical passport style photographs taken within the last 6 months. Visa photos should not be the same used for the passport.

Proof of Travel to Australia

Applicant must submit a computer-generated itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing departure from the U.S. and arrival/departure in Australia.

Proof of Finances

Applicant must submit three most recent bank statements.

Applicant must show on most recent statement sufficient funds to support themselves during the visit (generally this equals $150 USD per day in country).

Bank statement should be originals, although print outs of online statements are often accepted.

Proof of Residency

If applicant is non-US citizen, applicant must provide a copy of valid Alien Registration Card (Green Card), Visa, or other proof of legal status in the United States with permission for re-entry.

Business Cover Letter

All Australia business visa applicants must submit a Business Cover Letter from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel to Australia, duration of stay and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the example Business Cover Letter below.

The following Australia visas are generally available for non-US citizens. Please note that entries, validates, processing times and fees may vary based on nationality:

Australia Embassy fees may be paid by credit card when filling out the ItsEasy online order form below or via money order made payable to "Embassy of Australia". Non-US citizens are encouraged to pay via credit card to avoid potential delays.
