Current Passport

Applicant must submit their current passport.

Note: In order to obtain Belarus visas, passport must have one blank visa page and not expire within the next six months.

1.2

Visa Photo Requirement

The Embassy requires two (2) identical passport style photographs taken within the last 6 months. Visa photos should not be the same used for the passport.

Proof of Travel

Applicant must submit a computer-generated itinerary from a travel agency or online booking engine showing departure from the U.S. and arrival/departure in Belarus.

Proof of US Residency

Applicant must submit a legible color copy of valid Alien Registration Card (Green Card), Visa, or other proof of legal status in the United States, with permission for re-entry.

Letter of Invitation

Belarus tourist visas require a copy of the tourist voucher and a copy of the confirmation from Belarussian hosting tourist organization. Hosting organization should be registered as a tourist company by the Belarussian authorities. This registration number should be indicated in the confirmation. Fax or scanned/printed are generally acceptable.

Belarus business visas require a letter of invitation from an agency, company or organization in the Republic of Belarus, which is registered as a legal entity by the Belarussian authorities. Multiple-entry Belarus business visas require confirmation from the MFA of Belarus. Fax or scanned/printed are generally acceptable.

Business Visa Requirement

If applicant is requesting a business visa, applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the example Business Cover Letter below.
