Bolivia Tourist Visas

Current Passport

Applicant must submit their current passport. Bolivia tourist visas are stamped into a passport, therefore the Bolivia Embassy requires the original passport.

Note: In order to obtain Bolivia tourist visas, passport must have one blank visa page and must not expire within the next six months. If you require passport services, please visit our expedited passport services section.

Bolivia Tourist Visa Photo Requirement

The Bolivia Embassy requires two (2) identical passport style photographs taken within the last 6 months. Visa photos should not be the same used for the passport.

Proof of Travel to Bolivia

Applicant must submit a computer-generated itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing departure from the U.S. and arrival/departure in Bolivia.

Hotel Confirmation

Applicant must submit hotel confirmation or letter of invitation from friends or relatives in Bolivia.

1.5

Medical/Health Requirement

Applicant must submit an International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever (except for minors age under 1 year).

Proof of Finances

Applicant must submit a bank statement indicating that the applicant has sufficient funds to sustain them while they are in Bolivia.

Bank statement may consist of either a print out of your statement (online statements are acceptable) or a letter from the bank giving the balance, signed by an employee of the bank on the bank's letterhead.
