How Long Are Brazil Visas Valid
Visa's to Brazil are always valid for 90 day stays. They are usually
multiple entry visas valid for travel during a 10 year period, but
they are sometimes only valid for a 90 day period. The Brazil consulate
will decide how long a visa you will be given. Engineering visas
are almost always issued for only 90 day validity.

How To "Read" Brazil Visas

A) Date
This is the date the visa was issued. To "activate" your
Brazil visa, you must enter into Brazil within 90 days of this date
B) Fee
This is the base visa fee. Any additional fees that are charged
are attached to your passport as a receipt by the Brazil Consulate.
C) Validity
This shows how long the visa is valid for. The visa above is valid
for 5 years. Some visas will only be valid for 90 days.
D) Visa Type
This is a Type II visa, which is a Business Visa. We will get an
example of a tourist visa posted soon.

What is An "Entry" (Single
/ Double / Multiple)
Single entry visas allow you to enter Brazil one time within
the validity of the visa. Double entry visas allow you to enter
Brazil two times within the validity of the visa. Multiple
entry visas allow you to enter Brazil an unlimited amount of
times within the validity of the visa.

applicants to live in. Brazil ENFORCES jurisdiction. That means
you must fill in the application form listed on our web pages for
the appropriate jurisdiction, and the time frame that we can process
