Notice; Due to inconsistent processing at
the Brazilian Embassy and Consulate offices, some requests
may take longer than indicated. For those traveling within
the next month, urgent requests are recommended.
Step 1 -
Gather the Following Requirements
Applicant must submit their current
passport. Brazil visas are stamped into
a passport, therefore the the original passport is required.
also include a copy of the information page of the passport.
Note: In order to obtain Brazil
visas, passport must have two (2) blank facing visa pages
(typically the last few pages of the passport are marked "Amendment"
and are not valid for visas) and must be valid for at least
six months past the date of entry into Brazil.
Applicant must submit two (2) identical,
color, passport style photographs. The photos must be recent
and generally should not be the same used for the passport
itself. Passport photos can be obtained at most post offices,
Kinko's, Walgreens, etc.
Applicant must submit a computer-generated
itinerary from a travel agency or online booking tool (such
as e-confirmation from an airline or Travelocity, Orbitz,
etc) showing departure from the U.S. and arrival/departure
1) Original + one copy of childs birth certificate;
2) Color photocopy of parents passports or drivers license;
3) A notarized form of authorization from parents. Applicant
must provide BOTH "Minor Authorization
Form 1" (which requires separate notarizations for
each parent) as well as the appropriate version of "Minor
Authorization Form 2" - both documents must be notarized:
Special Note: If either parent of the
applicant is currently a Brazilian national, please also
include the following notarized form:
Proof of Residency
Applicant must submit legible color
copy of their driver's license or state issued ID. If applicant
has recently moved and not updated their ID, applicant must
also provide a recent utility bill.
Applicant must submit one completed Brazil
visa application. The application is completed online. After
clicking the link below to launch the application site:
1) In the lower gray box, click the British flag to change
the language to English.
2) In the same gray box, select "VISA REQUEST"
to begin the process.
3) On the bottom of the instructions page, press the next
button. Answer the questions and press "Next" button
until completed. There will be several pages each with a few
questions. There is no need to print each page as you go through
4) When asked "DO YOU WISH TO UPLOAD PHOTO, SIGNATURE
AND DOCUMENTS?", select "Cancel".
5) When asked " Foi gerado o número de protocolo:
140919-001721. Deseja imprimir o recibo de entrega?",
6) Print the confirmation form which is one page with very
little information on it and several bar codes. Applicant
must sign inside rectangular box toward bottom of page and
include with documents above. The two lines below the box
may be left blank.
Note: The Brazilian governments online application is not
fully compatible with FireFox/Macintosh. It is recommended
applicant use Internet Explorer on a PC platform.

Step 3 -
Place Order and Deliver Documents
Applicant must submit an ItsEasy order form
which provides contact information, service request and payment information.
Upon completion of the order form shipping or delivery instructions will
