Current Passport

Applicant must submit their current passport.

Note: In order to obtain Brunei visas, passport must have one blank visa page and not expire within the next six months.

Visa Photo Requirement

The Embassy requires one (1) identical passport style photograph.

Proof of Travel

Applicant must submit a computer-generated itinerary from a travel agency or online booking engine showing departure from the U.S. and arrival/departure in Brunei.

Proof of US Residency

Applicant must submit a legible color copy of valid Alien Registration Card (Green Card), Visa, or other proof of legal status in the United States, with permission for re-entry.

Cover Letter

Applicant must provide the Brunei Embassy with a personal cover letter describing the purpose of travel to Brunei.

Business Visa Requirement

If applicant is requesting a business visa, applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the example Business Cover Letter below.
