Current Passport

Applicant must submit their current passport.

Note: In order to obtain Canada visas, passport must have one blank visa page and not expire within the next six months.

Visa Photo Requirement

The Embassy requires two (2) identical passport style photographs taken within the last 6 months. Visa photos should not be the same used for the passport.

Proof of Travel

Applicant must submit a computer-generated itinerary from a travel agency or online booking engine showing departure from the U.S. and arrival/departure in Canada.

Proof of US Residency

Applicant must submit a legible color copy of valid Alien Registration Card (Green Card), Visa, or other proof of legal status in the United States, with permission for re-entry.

Proof of Finances

Applicant must submit a 3 most recent bank statements indicating that the applicant has sufficient funds to sustain them while they are in Canada. This generally equates to $100 USD/day in Canada.

A letter from the bank stating your balance WILL NOT be sufficient.

Business Visa Requirement

If applicant is requesting a business visa, applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration of travel, the nature of the duties to be performed, the name and address of the corporate host in Canada and moral and financial responsibilities. If applicant is requesting a business visa, applicant must submit a letter of invitation from the company or organization in Canada

Applicant must submit one completed visa application and one completed supplementary application form. Please make sure to fill out both forms.

Canada Embassy fees may be paid by credit card when filling out the ItsEasy online order form below or via money order made payable to "Embassy of Canada". Non-US citizens are encouraged to pay via credit card to avoid potential delays.

When completing the online order form above, you will be offered the use of the ItsEasy FedEx account to send document to us. By selecting this service, you will be provided a pre-addressed, pre-paid FedEx air bill upon completion.
