To get India conference visas, simply follow the India business
visa requirements below.
1.1
Current
Passport
Applicant must submit their current
passport. India Conference visas are stamped into a passport,
therefore the India Embassy requires the original passport.
Note: In order to obtain India
visas, passport must have two (2) blank visa pages (preferably
facing pages) and must not expire within the next six months.

1.2
India
Conference Visa Photo Requirement
The India Embassy requires two
(2) identical passport style photographs taken within the
last 6 months. Visa photos should not be the same used for
the passport.
The Indian Embassy
will not accept visa photos in which the applicant is wearing
glasses.
Applicant must submit a computer-generated
itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing
departure from the U.S. and arrival/departure in India.

Clearance
Letters
Conference visa applicants must
submit ALL of the following:
Ministry of Home Affairs Clearance: A clearance letter
from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Ministry of External Affairs Clearance: A clearance letter
from the Ministry of External Affairs.
State Government/UT Clearance: A clearance letter from
the State Government/Union Territories.
Nodal Ministry Clearance: A clearance letter from the
Ministry that holds jurisdiction over the conference. Example,
an education conference needs a clearance letter from the
Ministry of Education.
In the case that the conference/seminar/workshop is being
organized in India by private companies the applicant should
apply for the shortest duration Business visa available. If
approved, a 3 month single entry Business visa will be granted.
1.5
Proof
of Residency
Applicant must submit legible color
copy of their driver's license or state issued ID. If applicant
has recently moved and not updated their ID, applicant must
also provide a recent utility bill (water, sewer, electric).
1.6
Business
Cover Letter
Applicant must submit a letter
from their US company stating that the company has nominated
the applicant to attend the conference and should describe
why the applicant was chosen and sate trip itinerary.
1.7
Non-US
Citizen Requirement
If applicant is not a US citizen,
applicant must submit a legible color copy of valid Alien
Registration Card (Green Card), Visa, or other proof of legal
status in the United States, with permission for re-entry.
Note:
Non-US Citizens may only apply for a one-year multiple entry
visa

Conference Visa Application
Applicant must create visa application
using online process. Upon completion, applicant must print
and sign confirmation page.
Note: Name used for application
must match name on passport exactly.
Note: Applicant must review completed
application. If mistakes are found, application must be re-submitted.
Corrections to confirmation page will result in rejection
of application.
