When to Apply for Kenya Visas
We recommend that you apply for your visa 2 weeks before your travel
date. Kenya offers two different services, a rush service that is
1-3 days and a regular service that is 4-7 days.
The processing time of your visa is at the consulate's discretion.
Although 90% of the visas are done in the choose time frame - the
consulate does maintain the right to hold applications while waiting
for approval from it's ministry of foreign affairs, or while conducting
background checks. For that reason we always recommend that applicant's
give themselves another few days to process their visas. When the
consulate requires special approval they can take 2 week - 4 weeks
to process the visa, that would be out of ItsEasy's control.

How Long Are Kenya Visas Valid
Kenya has both single entry and multiple entry visas. Both the single
and multiple entry visas are usually valid for 1 year - BUT the
consulate has given shorter validity visas in the past. The validity
of your visa will be written on the visa stamp itself.

What is An "Entry" (Single
/ Double / Multiple)
Single entry visas allow you to enter Kenya one time within
the validity of the visa. Double entry visas allow you to enter
Kenya two times within the validity of the visa. Multiple
entry visas allow you to enter Kenya an unlimited amount of
times within the validity of the visa.

What Is a Visa Jurisdiction
Some foreign Embassies or consulates will only accept visa applications
from residence within a specific area, normally determined by state.
Kenya does not enforce any jurisdiction requirements regarding
the issuance of Kenya tourist and business visas.
