Russia Business Visas

Current Passport

Applicant must submit their current passport. Russia business visas are stamped into a passport, therefore the Russia Embassy requires the original passport.

Note: In order to obtain Russia business visas, passport must have one blank visa page and not expire within the next six months. If you require passport services, please visit our expedited passport services section.

Russia Business Visa Photo Requirement

The Russia Embassy requires two (2) identical passport style photographs taken within the last 6 months. Visa photos should not be the same used for the passport.

Proof of Travel to Russia

Applicant must submit a computer-generated itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing departure from the U.S. and arrival/departure in Russia.

Official Invitation

Applicant must submit a certified Russian business invitation voucher. These can often be obtained from inviting party in Russia, however may take several weeks to be issued. If applicant does not possess an invitation, one may be ordered quickly using the link below. This service will take your information and payment, process the invitation, and provide it to ItsEasy. In most cases, we will have the invitation in hand by the time we receive your documents. This is the easiest and most common way applicants obtain visa invitation vouchers.

Applicant must obtain your invitation prior to completing the visa application listed below as information from the invitation is required to complete the application.

When asked for processing location, select New York Consulate.

Note: Business invitations require an uploaded scan of the information page of the applicants passport.

Business Cover Letter

All Russia business visa applicants must submit a Business Cover Letter from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel to Russia, duration of stay and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the example Business Cover Letter below.

Russia Business Visa Application

For single/double entry visas, applicant must submit one originally signed completed Russia business visa application.

For multiple entry visa application, applicant must submit two originally signed applications.

The application must be completed using an online wizard provided by the Russian government. This policy was implemented and mandatory as of July 1, 2011. The wizard can be difficult to use however this process is now required.

After clicking the link below, select "Registration" from the links in the top and enter information requested to be issued a ID number (Declarant) and password. Write these down. APPLICANT MUST INCLUDED the Declarant and password when sending documents to ItsEasy.

After indicating you have saved the information, press continue and then link for "New Application" on top.

When completing the online order form above, you will be offered the use of the ItsEasy FedEx account to send document to us. By selecting this service, you will be provided a pre-addressed, pre-paid FedEx air bill upon completion. For urgent processing, it is recommended you select the "First AM" option for sending documents to ItsEasy.
