When to Apply for South Korea Visas
We recommend that you apply for your visa 2 weeks before your travel
date. However, Korea generally processes visas within a 2 day period.
The processing time of your visa is at the consulate's discretion.
Although 90% of the visas are done in the 2 day time frame - the
consulate does maintain the right to hold applications while waiting
for approval from it's ministry of foreign affairs, or while conducting
background checks. For that reason we always recommend that applicant's
give themselves another few days to process their visas. When the
consulate requires special approval they can take 2 week - 4 weeks
to process the visa, that would be out of ItsEasy's control.
