United Kingdom Visa Expediting
Service for Non-US Citizens
To qualify for admission as a student, a person must:
Applicant must have been accepted for a course of study in a
bona fide private education institution (with properly maintained
enrollment and attendance records), or an independent fee paying
school outside the maintained sector, or a publicly funded institution
of further/higher education;
Applicant must be able to meet the costs of the course, accommodation
and maintenance (including for dependents) without taking employment
or engaging in business or having recourse to public funds
To obtain United Kingdom visas, simply follow the visa requirements
below:
Note: Message from UK COnsulte issued 10/20/10:
"Limit reached on UK Government
tier 1 general applications.
The UK Border Agency administers the
limit on a monthly basis and the limit for October has been now
reached.
In order to avoid breaching the worldwide visa allocation of 600
for October 2010, no further visas for successful Tier 1 (General)
applications will be issued until the limit allocation reopens on
Monday 1 November 2010.
The limit does not affect applications
from dependents, applications to extend existing Tier 1 general
visas or to Post Study Work, Entrepreneurs or Investors.
You can still submit an application for
Tier 1 (General) during this closure period but applications but,
if the application is successful, a visa will not be issued until
the limit re-opens. Please bear in mind that this will be 1 November
at the earliest.
If you currently have an outstanding
Tier 1 application, it cannot be issued until the beginning of next
month. At that time, we will process outstanding applications as
quickly as possible, in the order that they were received at the
Consulate."

Current
Passport
Applicant must submit their current
passport.
Note: In order to obtain United
Kingdom visas, passport must have one blank visa page and
not expire within the next six months.
1.2
Visa Photo Requirement
The Embassy requires two (2) identical
passport style photographs taken within the last 6 months.
Visa photos should not be the same used for the passport.
Applicant must submit a computer-generated
itinerary from a travel agency or online booking engine showing
departure from the U.S. and arrival in United Kingdom.

Proof
of Finances
You must submit documentation that
you have enough funds to support your trip to the United Kingdom.
Examples include:
Recent Bank Statement (within last 30 days)
Loan Approval
Letter of Support from Sponsor
Evidence of Government Sponsorship

Letter
of Sponsorship
Applicant must submit a letter
from a school, college or university confirming acceptance
for the course of study in the UK and a statement of charges
for the course.

Visa Application
Applicant must submit one (1) printed
and signed copy of confirmation from online visa application.
Payment must be made via credit card to embassy during this
process.
During application process, applicant will be asked to set
appointment for biometric appointment. This process requires
the applicant to submit to fingerprinting by agent on behalf
of United Kingdom Embassy. Upon completion of biometric appointment,
applicant will be provided stamp of completion at which time
documents may be forwarded to ItsEasy for processing.
In June of 2010, the UK Boarder Agency implemented
a new Priority Service program. This program is designed to
offer a faster turn around for UK visa applications. All applications
submitted by third parties MUST utilize the Priority Service.
The cost of this service is $150 on top of the visa fee.
Applications received without the Priority Service confirmation
will either be charged an additional $200 or returned. By
submitting your documents, you accept this term.
You will be asked what facitility the application is being
submitted to. Facilities are based on the following state
of residency jurisdictions. Please select the appropriate
facility after following the link below:
Los Angeles Facility
Residents of AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, LA, MT, NM, NV, OK,
OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, WA and WY
Chicago Facility
Residents of AL, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, MS,
ND, NE, OH, SD, TN and WI
New York Facility
Residents of CT, DC, DE, GU, MA, MD, ME, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PR,
RI, SC, VT, VI and WV
Applicant must submit the following
two Points Based amendment forms. Although very similar, they
are different forms and both are needed to ensure processing.
Visa are paid during the application
process in section 1.6 above. Fees, entries and type vary
based on visa requested. Processing times are generally between
2 and 4 business days.
NOTE:
"Processing" refers to business days in the embassy
and does not include processing or shipping.

Online Order Form
Applicant must submit an ItsEasy
order form which provides contact information, service request
and payment information. When completing online order form
you will be asked to select the visa you are applying for.
As there are many dynamic visa options when completing the
application in section 1.6, simply select the closest visa
to what you selected - you will not be charged by ItsEasy
for the visa you select.
Ship all visa documents to ItsEasy
Passport and Visa for processing.

document shipping. When completing the online order form above, you will be
offered the use of the ItsEasy FedEx account to send document to us. By selecting
this service, you will be provided a pre-addressed, pre-paid FedEx air bill
upon completion. For urgent processing, it is recommended you select the "First
AM" option for sending documents to ItsEasy.
