Indonesian Visa Services

For US citizens you will need a passport valid for at least six months following the date of your arrival to Indonesia. You are required to have a visa to enter Indonesia, obtained either beforehand or, in limited circumstances, on arrival.

Applicant must submit their current, signed passport. Visas are stamped into a passport, therefore the original passport is required.
1.2 Photo Requirement
Applicant must submit two (2) identical, color, passport style photographs. The photos must be recent and generally should not be the same used for the passport itself.
1.3 Proof of Travel
Applicant must submit a computer-generated itinerary from a travel agency or online booking tool (such as an e-confirmation or online booking) showing departure from the US and arrival/departure for the destination.
Note, if traveling via private charter the charters manifest should suffice.
1.4 Proof of Residency
Applicant must submit a clear, color copy of front and back of driver's license or state issued ID.
1.5 Proof of Sufficient Funds
Applicant must submit most recent personal bank statement.
Applicant must show on most recent statement showing a positive balance of $2000 or more.
Bank statement should be originals, although print outs of online statements are often accepted.
1.6 Yellow Fever Vaccination
If applicant has traveled within the last 90 days to any of the Yellow Fever countries an International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
1.7 Absence Letter
Applicant must submit a letter from their employer or school (on business letterhead, with contact details), stating that a leave of absence has been granted and that applicant will be returning to your current position on a specific date. If applicant is self-employed, applicant may write their own letter and include a copy of business license and tax return. If applicant is retired, submit proof of retirement.
1.8 Applicants Under 18yrs
Although applicant may be submitting documents along with other family members, when submitted to an embassy or consulate, applications are treated individually. If applicant is under 18 years old, please view the following link.
1.9 Visa Application
The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia requires visa applications to be completed online via their web site. Please complete the Indonesia visa applications online, then print out the completed application when prompted. Original signature required. Applications should be printed single-sided and signed in blue or black ink only.
Please note: Multiple entry visas may only be requested by those who have previously obtained a single entry visa (must include a copy of the visa).
